Things I’ve Learned About Design (and Life) Over Coffee

When I first stepped into the world of design, it felt like my first sip of coffee — a little bitter, slightly overwhelming, and hard to fully understand. But just like coffee, the more I immersed myself in it, the more I appreciated the depth, the warmth, and the meaning behind every detail.

Design might look complex from the outside — colors, grids, wireframes, research, interfaces. But at its core, it’s about simplicity and function. It’s about making life easier, smoother, and maybe even a little more joyful — one thoughtful interaction at a time.

It’s taught me that you can change how someone feels with just a scroll, a button, a well-timed animation. That something as small as a friendly microcopy or a clean layout can create trust and clarity.

Like coffee, design has become a ritual — a quiet, powerful reminder that the best things are often simple… but never shallow.
